They will include topics like the listening room (and its effect on loudspeaker reproduction), loudspeaker component parts, post Plessey Rola (what has changed in the past 40 years), speaker testing (why measure, what should be measured, and QA testing), how pro-audio, monitor and HiFi speakers differ, and design software.

About Michail Barabasz:

Michail started his career at Plessey Rola as an R&D engineer, where as a loudspeaker designer he was responsible for many classic designs like the C60/C80/C100 and C12P, as well as the PE800/1200 range.

By the time Plessey Rola ceased operations in 1974 Michail was their Engineering Manager.
He then moved on to start his own loudspeaker company, Lorantz Audio.

At Lorantz he has designed and manufactured all their current range (approx. 78 models) as well as the AER (Audio Engineering Research) range of HIFI loudspeakers which have been marketed internationally.

He has also instigated loudspeaker research into uncharted areas of loudspeaker design.
This work included:
Fine element modelling
Cone shape optimization
and
Suspension optimization

(Collaborator David Featherson was credited with a PhD for his work on this project)

Michail has co-authored papers published in both the AES Journal and elsewhere, as well as presented at AES and other conferences.
