On Mon 21st May 2012 Gearhouse Broadcast Audio Engineer Peter Craig hosted 17 AES members and guests on a tour of one of their Outside Broadcast vans utilized by both the Seven Network and Fox Footy for AFL, and by a range of clients for other sporting and special events broadcasts.

Gearhouse Broadcast Van Tour

The next AES Melbourne Section meeting will be a tour of one of the Gearhouse Broadcast OB Vans used for AFL coverage.

Audio Engineer Peter Craig will host the tour, and provide insights into the technology and practices involved in bringing the footy to your screens.

April Meeting – deferred to May

Tour of Gearhouse OB Van

The Dex Audio visit planned for April has been delayed to June, due to a major equipment installation in progress.

Details are still being finalized, but the next meeting will be a tour of one of Gearhouse Broadcast’s big Outside Broadcast trucks, but it will now be deferred from April to May.

The date has now been confirmed to be Mon May 21st.

Numbers will need to be controlled, so online bookings will be available closer to the date.
