This month the Australian Acoustical Society joins with us to present the final in our Acoustics series
The next meeting of the Melbourne Section of the AES, and the Victorian Division of The Australian Acoustical Society will be a combined meeting to be held on Mon 18th February 2013 at 7:30pm in Lecture Theatre EN101 at Swinburne Uni, on the topic:
Stefan Kudelski, the inventor of the Nagra series of audio tape recorders – unbiquitous in film sound and broadcast has died at age 84.

Our first meeting for 2013 has been confirmed for Mon February 18th at 7:30pm at Swinburne Uni
(room number yet to be confirmed).
There will be two speakers from Marshall Day Acoustics:
Peter Exton will speak on the changes to the room acoustics.

John Alekna will speak on the new sound system.

Congratulations to AES Melbourne Section committee stalwart Greg Segal, who has won the award for Excellence in Technical/IT Services at the CBAA Conference.
(CBAA is the Community Broadcasting Association of Aust).
