Meeting Notice: Celebrating The End of Another Year

Another momentous year for the AES Melbourne Section draws to a close.

It is a time for us all to slow down, enjoy life, and reconnect with people we don’t see often enough.

To that end, the AES Melbourne Section is holding an End of Year Dinner at Club Ringwood on Monday 8th December at 7:30pm

Those who attended last year’s dinner will remember the venue and the event fondly.
I discovered that it is surprising what can be learned from audio practitioners in very different fields from your own in a social setting.

Tickets are available at https://www.trybooking.com/DHJYN

Meeting Report: 27 October 2025 – Tomlinson Holman on Surround Sound.

The History and Future of Surround Sound

He started by playing a recording of “The Flight of the Bumblebee” as an Overture, commenting that this tune was selected for a reason – a choice that will be explained later – stay tuned.
